Located at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains in the prestigious Westside of Los Angeles, the beauty of Brentwood has been attracting residents since its modern development started in the late 1800s. In the years since, Brentwood has emerged as one of Los Angeles’ most coveted areas. The picture-perfect neighborhoods and tree-lined streets lend an inviting suburban appeal to the elegant community. It is no surprise that Brentwood real estate attracts celebrities and business tycoons looking for a quiet — yet convenient — place to call home. Brentwood is undoubtedly a refined mix of well-manicured estates, charming local businesses, and beautiful outdoor parks.

Along with Bel Air and Beverly Hills, Brentwood is often referred to as one of the “Three Bs”. It is bounded by Wilshire Boulevard to the south, the San Diego Freeway to the east, Mulholland Drive to the north, and Topanga State Park to the west. Due to its proximity to the Pacific Ocean, the city enjoys refreshing marine breezes. The topography largely consists of gently rolling hills and the scenic ridges of the adjacent mountains. Located about 30 minutes from Downtown Los Angeles and just a few miles inland from Santa Monica’s beaches, Brentwood truly offers a prime Los Angeles location.

Brentwood is home to the main campus of the internationally renowned Getty Center. This stunning museum offers a vast assortment of Western art and is one of the most visited museums in the United States. Outside of the museum, Brentwood boasts numerous architecturally significant homes. The beautiful city boasts mid-century masterpieces by some of the most famous names in architecture. Brentwood real estate also consists of Spanish and Tudor-style estates.

Most commercial buildings in Brentwood are centered around Sunset, Wilshire, and San Vicente boulevards. San Vicente Boulevard is lined by coral trees, which are magnificently decorated with twinkling lights for the holidays. Brentwood Village offers over 12 restaurants and numerous shops, while the Brentwood Country Club is one of the most recognized clubs in Los Angeles. For families, Brentwood offers two public schools and seven private schools. Add in the weekly farmers’ market, and residents truly don’t have a reason to leave the prestigious city. However, for commuters, the 405 is easily accessible.
