    Westridge is a 24 hour gated community that is located in the city of Calabasas. It is one of many communities but is also one of the smaller ones in the area. The majority of the homes in the area are single family homes and they were built between the years of 1987 and 1991. There are approximately 109 luxury homes in this community. One of the best benefits of this community is that some of the homes have great views of Los Angeles as well as valley views because of where the community is located in the hills. Some of the other views you can find include the Santa Monica mountains, the city lights at night, and even the Calabasas golf course. The homes in this community typically range in price between $1.5 million and $2.3 million.

    The community was established in 1987 and many of the homes were built around that time. Because many of the homes were built several years ago, it is common to find homes that have been renovated and upgraded to bring in more of a modern look and feel as well as an upgraded and high end interior. The homes in the community range in size between 4,000 square feet and 13,000 square feet. They tend to be on the larger size when compared to the average home. Many of the homes also have large and luxurious outdoor spaces that have things such as a garden retreat, a swimming pool, and even a hot tub.     The community is in the Las Virgenes Unified School District which is a highly sought after and prestigious school district. It is one of the top rated districts in the area. The schools that serve Westridge specifically include Bay Laurel Elementary School, Alice C. Stelle Middle School, Calabasas High School, and several charter schools. This school district is a major selling point for many parents with school age children looking for a quality education for them.
