    Newport Beach is a one-of-a-kind beachfront town located just south of the greater Los Angeles area. In 1905, the Pacific Electric Railway extended to the city, and the beautiful, sandy beaches have been attracting residents and tourists ever since. The prestigious community boasts laid-back living and an incredible harbor area.

    Newport Beach is located in a 21-square-mile area in Orange County. The affluent city is bordered by Costa Mesa and Huntington Beach to the north, Irvine to the east, and Laguna Beach to the south. Downtown Los Angeles is less than an hour’s drive from the center of Newport Beach, but the coastal city often feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle of the city. 

    Newport Beach is home to the Fortune 500 Company Pacific Life. It is also home to Acacia Research, the Irvine Company, the Galardi Group, PIMCO, and a large Toyota design center. Outside of business hours, residents enjoy the Newport Harbor. The largest recreational harbor on the United States’ west coast, the Newport Harbor hosts over 9,000 boats. It is a hub for sailing, fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and whale watching excursions. There are also numerous yacht clubs. The Lido Marina Village hosts numerous restaurants and shops, as well as a weekly organic farmers’ market an an annual boat show. For other outdoor pursuits, residents head to Crystal Cove State Park. This scenic area boasts tide pools, hiking and biking trails, and campgrounds. 

    Newport Beach real estate is widely regarded for its ultra-luxury homes. The city is teeming with beautiful gated communities and waterfront estates. The Newport Harbor and Newport Bay is full of man-made islands with spectacular residences. Smaller neighborhoods in Newport Beach include Balboa Island, Santa Ana Heights, and Newport Coast just to name a few.
