Riviera Pacific Palisades
Located south of Sunset Blvd. and adjacent to the Riviera Country Club, Pacific Palisades Riviera is a neighborhood of large custom-built residences with generous lots and unique and mature landscaping. Homes in Palisades Riviera may feature breathtaking ocean views of the Santa Monica Bay, Palos Verdes Peninsula, and Catalina Island.
Sunset Blvd. divides the Riviera neighborhood into upper and lower sections, and you may hear locals referring to living in the “Upper Riv” or “Lower Riv.” The Riviera golf course which lends the neighborhood its name has hosted numerous championships, including the Northern Trust Open. The neighborhood’s Mediterranean theme is reflected in street names like Amalfi, Corsica, and San Remo. The Napoli Ridge surrounding the northern portion of the Country Club features the largest homes: gated estates that can offer residents mountain, ocean, and Los Angeles’ city lights.
Noted for being the residence of a number of Hollywood A-List celebrities, the Riviera offers easy access to world-class restaurants, shopping, and other amenities on Los Angeles’ Westside. It is also beach-adjacent, although nearly every Riviera home boasts a custom-designed swimming pool. Because the homes in Palisades Riviera are custom-built, architectural styles are as varied as their original owners and designers, but the predominant look is Mediterranean with vaulted ceilings, arches, tiled roofs, and tile and stone floors. The Riviera is one of the preferred communities within the Pacific Palisades.
