Located in the heart of Studio City, Colfax Meadows is bordered by the Los Angeles River/Ventura Boulevard to the south, Moorpark Street to the north, Tujunga Avenue to the east, and Colfax Avenue to the west. There are no sidewalks in the original Colfax Meadows neighborhood, and the streets are instead bordered by lush trees. The Colfax Meadows extension neighborhood does offer sidewalks. However, both areas of the community are extremely family friendly and walkable. There are no through streets to the river, which limits traffic through Colfax Meadows exponentially. Throughout the neighborhood, original ranch homes on comparatively large lots intermingle with impressive, brand-new construction.
Colfax Meadows is conveniently located within walking distance to Tujunga Village and the Farmers’ Market. The trendy Tujunga Village retail district features quaint boutiques, cafes, salons, and restaurants. For families with young children, award-winning Carpenter Community Charter School is an optional elementary school for all Colfax Meadows homes. For commuters, the neighborhood is conveniently located by Ventura Boulevard and the 100 Freeway.
