Trousdale Estates
Situated at one of the highest points in Beverly Hills, Trousdale Estates is one of the most coveted and recognizable neighborhoods in Los Angeles’ Westside. Built in the 1950s through 1970s on what was once the Doheny Estate, this historic neighborhood boasts the city’s most complete collection of Mid-Century Modern architecture designed by the most notable names in the genre. Unsurprisingly, the community is home to high-profile residents seeking distinguished homes in a spectacular setting.
Trousdale Estates real estate is largely comprised of the aforementioned sprawling Mid-Century Modern homes, but the community does boast some estates of various other architectural styles. The majority of residences are single story, which lends well to true indoor-outdoor living. Trousdale homes feature grand outdoor entertainment areas and custom pools. Many of the estates in the exclusive neighborhood are located on oversized, terraced lots that boast some of the best ocean and city views in all of Beverly Hills. Trousdale Estates is located in the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains. The lower section of the neighborhood is right near the Greystone Mansion and north of Sunset Boulevard. Trousdale Estates residents enjoy easy access to the private Soho House and the other shops, bars, and restaurants along the Sunset Strip. The neighborhood’s convenient location near Sunset Boulevard also makes it easy to commute to other areas of Los Angeles.
