Westpark is a Mediterranean-accented village in Irvine which is located west of Woodbridge and adjacent to the 405 Freeway. Westpark, unlike some other Irvine planned communities, includes an urban corridor which also features Irvine’s City Hall and City Center Plaza. The community includes neighborhood shopping centers and extensive cul-de-sac neighborhoods which are both family-friendly and close to parks, open space, and recreational opportunities.

Large, 42-acre Bill Barber Community Park is a Westpark landmark, which also includes soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and batting cages. You will find an extensive barbecue and picnic area at the Bill Barber complex, along with a stadium, amphitheater, and lighted tennis courts. Many residents select Westpark because of its combination of a freeway-close location and quiet neighborhoods with well-maintained homes and amenities. Some homes in Westpark enjoy front- and back-greenbelt access. Many Westpark homes are spacious, with four, five and six bedrooms. Built beginning in the 1970s, Westpark homes were completed into the 1990s. Homeowners’ association dues range from approximately $49 to $300 a month depending upon home location, size, and amenities. Westpark’s community areas including the extensive number of pocket parks, pools, and recreation facilities, are being converted to “smart” COMMON SENSE™ technology which streamlines maintenance and provides environmentally-sound technology.

The majority of single-family homes in Westpark are well-maintained two-story Mediterranean executive homes on cul-de-sacs and quiet residential streets. Westpark also has many attractive, meticulously maintained greenbelts and public spaces. Similarly to other Irvine Villages, Westpark’s schools are highly-recognized for academic excellence. Westpark students may attend either University High School or Westridge High School: both California Distinguished schools with high rankings in California and nationally. You will also find good dining choices in Westpark and ample opportunities for shopping in local neighborhood centers. Westpark is also home to one of Irvine’s theater complexes, with current film releases on display.
